Match report: During
the first quarter the Felsted side moved the ball swiftly through the
court with some great feeds into the circle from Olivia Schwier and Izzy
Moore. However, unfortunately, The Perse quickly warmed up and they
became hard to overcome. They had a fantastic GA, who we later found out
had just been selected for the England U17 side at just 14 years of
age! She was exceptional; our defence consisting of Emily O'Connor and
Annabel Dines, worked extremely hard until the final whistle, but they
were just unable to stop this side attacking the circle and shooting
from every angle. In terms of experience, it was great for Felsted to be
stretched against such a side and I hope that they came away inspired
by what they saw and excited about how they can progress as a team.
